id3tool is a command line utility for easy manipulation of the ID3 tags present in MPEG Layer 3 audio files.

id3tool is a fully GPL'd program. Warm-fuzzy's are 100% optional.

All releases will be announced via Freshmeat.

Supported Platforms

id3tool should work on all Un*x platforms. It also works on Win32/ix86.

There have also been reports of id3tool working on MacOS X.
